i've been getting ready for a synth meetup/festival lately. I built a new modular in one of my old typewriter cases, and added some other outboard stuff. This will also be my first use of my ETC video synth in a live setting. Receiving MIDI derived from a couple of modular cv signals, no less.

last night i performed at nuit blanche regina with my friends Jeff Morton and Edie Skeard. we call ourselves Bell Dreams

the event was held in and around regina's warehouse district. we were situated at site 8, acme welding, in front of their metal storage rack.

this was my first live outing since march 2020!

lately i've been working with a patch in a small modular case. the results have been varied, but ultimately good.

I recently revisited the use of the piezothings with the old zither with great results. I might have to bring this gear along on the eastern campaign(a gig in brandon mb in september, yorkton sk in october, and guelph on in november)
